Butterscotch Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • lbs tart apples, peeled and thin sliced
  • 1⅔ cups butterscotch morsels
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Topping
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ stick butter
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • ¾ cups quick oats

Instructions

  • Apple Layer – Arrange apples in 13 x 9 pan. Combine morsels, sugar, flour and cinnamon in small bowl; sprinkle over apples. Bake 20 minutes 375°. Topping: Combine flour, sugar in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender. Stir in nuts and oats. Spring over apple layer. Bake for an additional 30-40 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned. Cool slightly. Serve with with ice cream, if desired.
